- It continued to rain but in more moderate terms and normal for the time of year – precipitation recorded : 91,4 mm (3,6 inches).
- The minimum air temperature was 23,1°C (73,6°F) ; the average reached 26,9°C (80,5°F)
- Soil temperature was 27,6°C (81,7°F).
- Solar radiation was on the low side during the first three days of the week but improved substantially afterwards.
- Relative humidity declined to 85,9 %
- All ag work was done on a timely basis, except for soil preparation which continued to be at a standstill.
- Most fruit harvested at 21 WAF (81.6%). Age to harvest reduction is brining positive results:
- Average sugar content with only a slight reduction to 14.8 º brix but with a lower STDV of measurements
- Volume of measurements > 15.5º down by half from 39.3% to 15.7%
- Almost 80% of the fruit at the target range of 13.5 to 15.5
- Pulp consistency improved bringing less “sensitive” fruit on arrival
- External color continues to be our biggest challenge; 41% at “0” coloration
- New Covid cases continue downward trend with vaccinations increasing and authorities relaxing restrictions effective August 9th.
