- Another slight increase in weekly precipitation and air temperatures in our region
- 64.5 mm (2.5 inches) of rainfall recorded
- Minimum and average air temperatures increased to 23,6°C (74,5°F) and 27,1°C (80,8°F), respectively.
- Literally too wet to plow but we are ready with enough fields bedded and ready to plant
- We continue to fine-tune harvest age as climate changes; quality and volumes are stable
- NDF harvest in our farms is underway but still is a small percentage of total harvest
- Other pineapple growing regions already harvesting mainly natural fruit
- Our use of biodegradable plastic mulch has resulted in small incidence of NDF in first harvest crop
