- Scattered light to moderate showers throughout the week accumulated:
- 56.8 mm ( 2.25 inches) of precipitation
- Air and soil temperatures stable and basically unchanged
- Minimum night temperatures >20 ºC (68 ºF)
- Actually this amount of precipitation was welcomed after 4 weeks of a dry spell
- Harvest age increase continues; now @ 87% harvested at 21 WAF
- All good husbandry practices are up to date and quality is excellent.
- As of April 5th, 467 cases of Coronavirus have been confirmed in Costa Rica. Most cases occurring in the Central Valley (San Jose and surrounding metropolitan area).
- Farms continue under strict protocols safeguarding the health of our collaborators, their families, and communities.
- We continue to adapt our business in response to COVID-19. The entire CHF family is doing an amazing job during this unprecedented time to serve our customers and to ensure our continued operations.
- Markets continue with a significant degree of unpredictability, some regions are seeing improved demand while waning in others.
