- Stable climatic conditions, very similar to the previous 4 weeks:
- 24.8 mm (just about 1 inch) or precipitation was recorded
- Average minimum was identical to prior week – 20.2ºC ( 68.3ºF)
- Low to medium solar radiation
- Relative humidity at 81.6%
- However, the minimum nighttime temperatures hovered around 20ºC ( 68ºF) continuing to raise the specter of late NDF events
- On the positive side, all ag practices are completed on a timely schedule
- Quality is very good with external color being the only parameter somewhat below our standard.
- Harvest volume is rising in timely manner to meet the Easter holiday demand as well as increased consumption as warmer weather approaches.
- Covid cases decline – 2.366 new cases were reported bringing the total to 207.272 and only 32 deaths occurred bringing the total to 2,838.
