4 Easy Holiday Pineapple Drinks

Making Spirits Bright with Holiday Pineapple Drinks!

Whether you’re hosting a holiday party, looking to make new traditions, or are unwinding during the holidays be sure to try out these festive pineapple drinks!

Christmas Punch

This Christmas Punch is a guaranteed crowd-pleaser for everyone! It’s not too sweet and has the perfect blend of ginger ale, cranberries, pineapple juice, and almond extract (the secret ingredient). Adding alcohol is optional. Here’s how to make these delicious holiday pineapple drinks:

To start, you’ll need:

6 cups cranberry juice or pomegranate cranberry juice: Look for a 100% juice blend. Not 100% cranberry juice alone but a blend of cranberry, apple, grape, etc. Don’t use a cranberry juice cocktail since it has added sugar.

3 cups of Chestnut Hill Farms Perfect Pineapple (juiced)

1 Tbsp almond extract

3 liters ginger ale: For more natural flavor I recommend avoiding diet, because of artificial sweeteners, unless it’s for diet restrictions.

1 bag of fresh cranberries and/or 2 limes (both are optional and for decorative purposes

Ice

Instructions

Pour cranberry juice, pineapple juice, and almond extract into a large drink dispenser and/or bowl and mix. Pour in ginger ale and give it another quick stir.

Add in cranberries and ice. Serve within a few hours for the best results before the carbonation goes flat.

Pineapple Strawberry Mimosa

Just in time for a holiday brunch, a Pineapple Strawberry Mimosa brings a sweet twist on a classic drink. A mimosa is always a wonderful choice, but for the holiday season, it deserves to be extra jolly. Here’s how to make your own:

Ingredients

12 Fresh strawberries, medium in size

2-3 cups Chestnut Hill Farms Perfect Pineapple (juiced)

750 mL bottle of champagne or prosecco chilled

Fresh pineapple or strawberry for garnish (optional)

Recipe

  1. Wash the strawberries and remove stems. Add 2 fresh strawberries to the bottom of a champagne flute and “muddle*” (gently smash into the bottom of the glass).
  2. Pour in Champagne or Prosecco until the glass is about 2/3 full. Top with desired amount of pineapple juice.
  3. Garnish with a fresh slice of pineapple or strawberry.

*Note on how to muddle: Drop a couple of small strawberries in the champagne flute after stems are removed. Press the fruit against the side of the glass using a muddler or just the back of a spoon. If you do not like chunks in your drink, then puree the strawberries in a blender or food processor and strain out the seeds. It’ll take a bit longer, but it will be worth it for the fresh strawberry taste.
