- Simply stated “it was too wet to plow” –
- Intense scattered showers accumulated 124.9 mm – almost 5 inches of rainfall.
- Minimum average air temperature was 21,6°C (70,8°F)
- The average air temperature was 25,6°C (78,2°F)
- Nighttime temperatures reached slightly below 20 Celsius (68°F)
- Soil temperature fell to 26,5°C (79,7°F).
- Solar radiation was low most days
- Relative humidity increased to 89,2%.
- Harvest age was unchanged – 67,9% was harvested at 21 WAF; 32,1% at 20 WAF.
- The farms reported harvesting 5% of late natural fruit.
- Average sugar content remains high – between 45% and 60% of our fruit has sugar content greater than 15.5.
- External color lower than we would like it to be – zero color fruit made up 35% of the volume.
- Taste, aroma and flavor unchanged and outstanding
- Covid 19 infection rates continue to decline – only 2.468 new cases ( 28.5% reduction)
- For the first time in almost 2 years we visited farms with Quality Assurance personnel from EU and USA.
