While it did rain almost every day in Week 33, we are happy to report that there was only 101 mm (4 inches) of precipitation recorded at the station. Rain intensity varied, with some days suffering a drizzle, yet allowing for major solar radiation. In turn, we experienced warmer days and higher soil temperatures at 27,4 Celsius degrees (81.4 F).
The “good” weather we welcomed this week didn’t quite allow for the significant progress in land preparation work that was required because of the past two weeks. However, we expect more improvements into Week 34 that will permit the internal roads for repair and heavy equipment to be brought in.
