Currently, excessive precipitation has caused flooding and severe infrastructure damage to the Caribbean region. A bridge on the road to the port has been disabled and repairs may take three to four days, interrupting exports during this period. Moreover, the high seas have made it impossible for vessels to dock and load since last Friday.
