Thank you Mother Nature! It’s been rough these past few weeks, but we were finally granted a very welcomed change in climatic conditions.
After becoming virtually paralyzed due to inclement weather, our farms were hard at work returning to agricultural practices such as land preparation, fertilization and disease control – with all departments maintained and up to date.
And while Week 9’s low levels of recorded rainfall (only 31 mm [1.2 inches]) are an answered prayer, lower temperatures have continued to negate fruit maturation and development timelines – meaning an increase in age at harvest is imminent.
