While we prepared for the season’s usual cold and rainy storm fronts, the first week of December has been surprisingly uneventful. We’re happy of course. With the dry, hot and sunny weather during Week 49 all husbandry practices have continued on schedule. The good climatic conditions have made it necessary to continue the process of reducing harvest age as threats to triggering natural flowering – expected during this time frame – have been missing.
