Cinco de Mayo is a celebration that has become widely popular across mainstream America and certain parts of the world. According to the History Channel, Cinco de Mayo, or the fifth of May, is a holiday that celebrates the date of the Mexican army’s 1862 victory over France at the Battle of Puebla during the Franco-Mexican War.
This day is actually a minor holiday in Mexico, while in the U.S. it has evolved into a commemoration of Mexican heritage, especially within areas of Mexican-American populations. Celebrate the 5th of May with us no matter where you are with these delicious recipes below!

Pineapples Make List of Most Healthy 15 Foods
CNN Names Pineapples as Top Clean Food
Pineapple has been named one of the top pesticide-free foods by CNN, and is at the top of the “Clean 15” of fruits and vegetables.
According to CNN, avocados lead clean fruits and veggies list, followed by sweet corn, pineapples, cabbage, onions, frozen sweet peas, papayas, asparagus, mangoes, eggplant, honeydew melon, kiwi, cantaloupe, cauliflower and broccoli. In addition to pineapple’s many health benefits, eating fruits that are less exposed to pesticides can reduce your exposure to cancer-causing chemicals.
Chestnut Hill Farms is adamant about practicing sustainable farming practices, including working to reduce pesticides and offer the best clean, healthy pineapple on the market worldwide.
